Netoju no Susume (Anime) Quick Review

Netoju no Susume or Recovery of an MMO Junkie is about a 30 yo NEET who plays an MMO called Fruits de Mer and falls in love.

This anime was too short. 10 episode is hardly enough for a binge but, oh well, it was freaking good so I won’t complain.

Oh, and it’s based of a web manga of the same name! (I’ll try to read it if I can)

It was visually really pretty. It was a good story and it was about the NEET life so I loved it.

Seriously, I saw so much of me into the main character it actually hurt my feelings a little bit but I’m not mad. I laughed so hard and could just see myself in her all the time.

Yes, I play MMOs. Yes, I play with male characters. I don’t try so hard to hide my real sex though. I just play male characters because I like looking at them and dressing them up… And I don’t like playing female characters because they are usually too thinly dressed and hearing them moan when they are hurt is usually pretty annoying.

I give Netoju no Susume: fantarating5_55/5 Fantas.

Let’s be honest here. I wanted to give 4/5 because of this really brusque end but I just couldn’t do it. I enjoyed myself while watching this so I thought it would be unfair to give a 4/5 just because it’s too short. It’s amazingly good. Go watch it. If you play MMOs, you’re going to enjoy it.

Obviously, I’m late again. It’s hard to keep up these days. I’ll try to be less lazy. Okay, I hope you all have a wonderful time and I’ll see you (hopefully) next week~

  1. This series certainly deserves five sodas. I don’t mind it being only ten episodes long. Some romance shows suffer by dragging things out for too long imho.
