I’m Not a Robot is a Korean Drama about a guy who’s allergic to humans and a girl who’s pushed to act as her robot counterpart for a while.
Now, I know it’s kinda cliche. The dude is allergic to humans blahblah but, you know what? I don’t care. Because, this drama, ladies and gentlemen, this drama was good. It was everything I was hoping it to be.
You know me, I love fantastic stuff. I mean, the “Fanta” in my user name stands for Fantasia which is a Fantasy Film Festival taking place in Montreal that I’ve always wished I could attend. And Fantasy there was (or should I say Sci-fi?)There was an android and the cutest little robot ever. That was nice. And this drama just delivered.
I don’t care if it’s cliche and I don’t care if it’s full of tropes we’ve seen a thousand times. Execution is key. They just nailed it. And I’m a sucker for that kind of stuff. I just never get tired of this.
Also, the actors were really good.
I give I’m Not a Robot: 5/5 Fantas.
It’s worth watching in my opinion. Maybe you won’t like it or maybe you’ll love it. I know I enjoyed it a lot. I would just wait every week for new episodes and I’d go crazy over it. Then I’d suddenly wake up on Wednesday and go “YES! FINALLY!”. It was a good heart-warmer in these very very cold days.
I’m glad it ended when it did, it didn’t drag on too long and I’m thankful for that. I hope you’ll enjoy it just as much as I did. Anyways, I’ll try to post next week but I don’t even know if I’ll have something by then. I might just binge something just to be able to post but I can’t promise anything… You know… Monster Hunter World happened. I have priorities…
Okay, I wish you all a wonderful week full of warmth and I’ll see you (hopefully) next week!
