Coffee Prince (Not so) Quick Review

636017991590129630-1204417915_kdrama2 This review might contain slight spoilers, you and your sensitive ass have been warned.

Coffee Prince is a Kdrama about a tomboy girl who acts like a guy to get a job and a guy who falls for her while still thinking she’s a guy.

So, let’s say this won’t exactly be what I call a quick review. As per usual, Kdramas tend to be insanely long. Sometimes it makes them great and other times, it makes them hard to watch. You really need to commit to the story for 15, 17, 20 or even 30 hours of content. Yes, a full episode is normally a little over an hour. They are long and usually the progression of the plot is slow or there is a lot going on at the same time with more than 1 big story.

I Order You (KDrama) Quick Review

I Order You is a Korean web series about a girl who falls in love with a chef that cooks lunchboxes.

Now, where do I start? Ah~ The beginning was so good but they had to screw it up?

Okay let’s start with the positive. The cast was cool. At first I really wasn’t sure about the male lead. Seriously, every time I start something, it’s the same. I tell myself that the guy isn’t my type. I go through it still because I would be stupid not to and then I find out that I loved the actor to the point that I don’t care about the main female character anymore.

Finding Mr. Destiny

Finding Mr. Destiny is about a guy that loses his job and starts a business to find first loves. He meets with a girl that is looking for her first love that she met in India.

Um… I watched this because of Gong Yoo, I won’t hide it. But, actually, it wasn’t so bad. It was pretty funny at times. Seeing Gong Yoo act innocent and clumsy was so freaking great.

The plot has it’s flaws. I must say I was pretty confused at the start. The movie was strangely cut and the exposition wasn’t so great so you were left to piece all the details together.

Magic Kyun! Renaissance (Quick Review)

Magic Kyun! Renaissance is an anime about a girl who enters a magical artistic school and gets into a special comity to organize some kind of festival.

I have so many mixed feelings about this anime. On one hand, it’s one of the rare reverse harem we’ve seen so far. On the other, it could have been so much more… *Insert a cry of desperation*

Now, visually, it’s pretty decent except sometimes, it can get a little weird. Some use of the 3D kinda broke the magic for me… get it? Because they used the 3D as a magical effect… No? Okay, I’m leaving… Don’t mind me… (To be fair, it’s 1:30 pm and I’m sooo fuzzy…)

Please Make it Happen. (Otoge Channels on Youtube)

We interrupt this broadcast to talk to you about Otome Games.

Here’s the thing. I’ve been watching Brotome Time for a while now and I really love it.

Yesterday, he made an update talking about Nightshade and spoke about GentleGameGuy. Dirili tried to “recruit” him.

GentleGameGuy wanted to quit Youtube. Go check him out. If he’s going to play Otome Games, I’m all in. Support the guy and get more male narrations for Otome! ^-^ He has such an amazing voice too.

Please show him some love so he won’t quit.

Senpai to Kanojo (Live action) Quick Review

Senpai To Kanojo tells the tale of a freshmen in high school who falls in love with her senpai who is, in turn, in love with his senpai.

The movie, also known as Her Senior, is based on a manga of the same name. It’s 2 volumes long and, well, I’m not done reading it but I must say it’s not bad.

To be honest with you, folks, I really didn’t know how to rate this movie at first. I actually waited a full night before writing this. Sometimes, it helps with my opinion on a piece but this is just hard. I can say for sure that it wasn’t 5/5 material but, ah, the struggle is real.
